Abstract
This collection consists of a paper written by Leo W. Stangler about Kilkenny, Minnesota. This small town in Le Sueur County was founded in 1850 by Irish immigrants from a county of the same name. The paper gives information on the early years of Kilkenny, - the schools, railroad, a destructive fire, and other historical events. The paper was written in 1965 as an assignment for Dr. Bert Burns’ Historical Geography Class at Mankato State College.
