Prince, Arnold Barton, 1943-. Oral History Interview, 20 and 24 February 1987
Abstract
The Arnold Barton Prince collection consists of an audiocassette and transcript for an oral history interview conducted between Prince and Michael Martin during the winter of 1987. At the time, Prince served as the superintendent of Gibbon Public Schools in Gibbon, Minnesota. Previously, he had worked as a teacher and/or administrator at schools in Pennsylvania, South Dakota, and Minnesota. In the interview, Prince touched upon the consolidation of Gibbon's school system with the systems in Fairfax and Winthrop, Minnesota. Furthermore, he discussed a variety of issues concerning staff development programs and the role of principals in small schools.
This oral history interview was conducted as a requirement for a course entitled Current Issues in Public Education at Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota.
