Ramy, Roy, 1908 - 1979. Oral History Interview, 1978
Abstract
This collection consists of an oral history interview conducted with Roy Ramy, of Mankato, Miimesota. For a time, Ramy worked in a general store owned by his father in Mankato, and later started the Ramy Seed Company in 1932. In the interview, Ramy discussed his parents' immigration to Mankato from Lebanon, the conditions in Lebanon that led to many Lebanese families coming to Mankato, Lebanese customs, and community life.

Biographical / Historical
Roy Ramy was bom on May 31, 1908, and lived in Mankato all of his life. He was married to Emily Mullengerg of Faribault, Minnesota in January of 1936. They had two sons. Roy Ramy died in November 1979.
