Jabbra, Effie, 1921 - 1979. Oral History Interview, 1978
Abstract
This collection consists of an oral history interview conducted with Mrs. Effie Jabbra, of Mankato. Mrs. Jabbra was selected for this interview because of her knowledge of the Mankato Lebanese American community. The interview covers topics relating to Lebanese Americans, the businesses they ran in Mankato, Mrs. Jabbra's family history, and affairs in Lebanon. Mike Jabbra, Effie's husband also participated in the interview, and joined the conversation about half way through the interview.

Biographical / Historical
Effie Jabbra was bom in Mankato on April 21, 1921. She was married to Mike Jabbra in Lebanon in 1949. She was a lifelong resident of Mankato, and an active participant in Mankato social events. Effie Jabbra died in January of 1979.
