Biographical / Historical
Fern Schumacher was from Heron Lake, Minnesota. She was admitted to Mankato State Normal School in September 1920 at the age of eighteen. She graduated from the Advanced Course in 1922, and taught in Comfrey, Minnesota from 1922 to 1924.
