Abstract

The Molly Burdorf collection consists of a biographical form and an audio CD and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Burdorf and Patrick Wizenburg in October 2007. Burdorf attended Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2005-2007. In this interview, Burdorf shares why she chose Minnesota State Mankato, her experiences at the university, how she balanced school and being a mother, and her plans after graduating.

This oral history interview was conducted as part of the Tell Your MSU Story Oral History Project conducted by the Southern Minnesota Historical Center at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Biographical / Historical

Molly Burdorf was born July 22, 1984 in Emmetsburg, Iowa. She attended Emmetsburg Public High School and graduated in 2003. After graduating, she attended Iowa Lakes Community College in Emmetsburg, Iowa. Burdorf then attended Minnesota State Mankato from 2005 to 2007 and majored in speech communication and minored in applied communications. Burdorf graduated December 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Department of Speech Communication.
