Biographical / Historical

Jelinek graduated from New Prague High School and enrolled in Mankato State Normal School in September 1908 at the age of nineteen. She graduated from the elementary course in 1909. She taught in the Becker (1909), Sherburne County (1910), South Stillwater (1911-1912), Proctor (1912-1916) and New Prague (1922-1923) schools. It is not clear where she was teaching at when her certificate was extended in 1928.
