This series contains photographs ranging from a few to several images primarily of families that lived in Mankato, Minnesota. This series contains the Austin, Cox, Greenwood, Holmes, Husband, Marshall, Shellenberger, Stevenson, Stewart, Thompson, Tibbetts, and Williams families. The Tibbetts family lived in Blue Earth, Minnesota.

In one of the Cox family pictures, the family is shown sitting on bicycles c. 1900. The Greenwoods lived in the Mankato area c. 1900 but moved near San Diego, California shortly thereafter. The Holmes family lived in the Mankato area c. 1900. Prior to moving to Minnesota, they lived in New York where a number of these studio portraits were taken. Information concerning the other families is not available.
