Scope and Contents
One of Dr. Abbas Kessel’s interests outside of academia was designing and building his own furniture. The chair designed by Dr. Kessel was one of his most accomplished builds. He was able to patent it and tried to sell it to companies across the country over the years. The series contains letters, designs, and pictures of the chair that he built and patented. Unfortunately, Dr. Kessel was unable to sell his chair design to any company.
