Abstract
The Ray Colwell collection consists of an audiocassette and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Colwell and Scott Markell during the fall of 1987. Colwell began his teaching career in Benson, Minnesota, but after one year there, he joined the United States Air Force. Following his service in the Korean War, Colwell was hired to teach art in Owatonna, Minnesota in 1955.
