The Gordon Lewis Hakes collection consists of an audiocassette tape, CD duplicate of the audiocassette, and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Hakes and David A. Thomas during the fall of 1990. Hakes worked as a public school teacher from 1950 to 1989.
