Scope and Contents
This series focuses on materials relating to Miller’s memberships in various professional organizations. The primary organization represented in this series is the National Council for Geographic Education (NCGE) which Miller co-founded in 1914. In this series there is information on NCGE annual meetings, NCGE history, and some correspondence. Included in this series are several awards that Miller received including the Distinguished Service Award from the Geographic Society of Chicago and the Distinguished Service Award from the National Council for Geography Teachers (the previous name of the NCGE).
