Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

The Music Department collection includes correspondence, newsletters, photographs information about department faculty and other materials created by the department. The collection also includes audio recording of recitals and group performances. This collection has been divided up into three series and two sub-series.

· Audio recordings and programs

o Reel to Reel audio cassettes

o DVD audio recordings

Faculty Records: This series contains faculty’s recital programs, photos, negatives, Newsweekly, and information about faculty in the department from 1967-2008.

Audio Recordings and Programs: These audio records begin in 1966 and go through 1997. It includes two sub-series, DVDs & Programs and Reel-to-Reel Tapes. Reel to reel are the originals. DVD copies have been made of the reel to reel. They are recitals and performances of faculty and students in various school events.

Subject Files: This series encompasses different parts of the Music Department. There are newsletters, correspondences, photos, negatives, and music programs.
